My name is Farley Mochan and I was born and raised in Indonesia.
In 2003, I embarked on a course to become a sports masseur at Leffelaar in Amsterdam. This was followed by various other massage courses, such as Chair Massage and Hot Stone Massage. In 2008, I decided to learn the ins and outs of Shiatsu (a massage technique originating in Japan), which meant spending three years on a Higher Professional Education Course.
I’ve been working as a masseur since 2005, and I joined the Koan Float team in 2010. The atmosphere at Koan Float is very pleasant and relaxed, the ambience is soothing and I work with highly professional colleagues. In short, it feels good working here.
I offer a variety of massage techniques. My personal favorite combines Sports Massage, Foot Reflexology and Shiatsu into what is known as a ‘Relaxation Massage’. It gives immediate contact, where the main focus is working on the muscles. In Asia, where I come from, people believe that the greater the pressure, the greater the benefit. But here I, of course, take the client’s wishes into consideration. This type of massage stimulates blood circulation of the skin and muscles, which generates a feeling of relaxation.
I regularly get massaged by my fellow masseurs to gain better insight into what my clients can expect from my massages. I aim at giving you the best possible massage, tailored to suit your needs!
