Shiatsu is an Eastern form of massage that aims at balancing mind and body. “Shi” means ‘fingers’ in Japanese and “atsu” means ‘pressure’. Shiatsu massage uses pressure from the fingers, specifically the thumbs, and the palms on special points on the body. It uses strokes and rotations of the joints. It improves vitality and well-being by allowing the energy in the body to ‘flow’ better, thereby spreading it so everything works properly again. Shiatsu works preventively to ensure your well-being.
